We encourage all of our guests to take advantage of the fishing opportunities on all of our trips. If fishing is one of your main goals we have specialty trips just for you.  We have many different opportunities available, we have tried to give a general idea of what is available.

Salmon River Bass fishing:  As our water warms throughout the summer the smallmouth bass become the sport fish of choice. Our small mouth make up for there size (1 to 4 Lbs.) with their heart, one of the best fighting fish for there size you will find anywhere. If your an avid angler or novice this is great fun to add to your summer vacation.  The warm crystal clear water creates ideal conditions for the bass and the angler who is looking to enjoy the beauty of the Salmon River Canyon. This adventure can be combined with rafting and or horseback riding combinations for a complete summer vacation for you or your family, 30 to 40 fish days are normal for most clients.

The Small Mouth Bass fishing is best during the summer months (June through September) You can choose either Drift Boat or Raft with fishing frame.

2 Day Scenic Green Canyon Bass & Sturgeon Fishing Trip

If your looking for a relaxing float trip with great bass fishing a little whitewater along with a wilderness feel, this trip packs it into a busy schedule.  A complete Idaho river trip the same as the longer 4 or 5 day adventures, a great relaxing adventure for the avid fisherman.

Hells Canyon Fishing Trips 4 or 6 Day

The Snake River has world class fishing for Bass, Steelhead, Sturgeon, Catfish and Trout depending on certain times of the year, you can catch all on the same trip.  We offer trips where you are fishing from raft frames specially designed to fish 2 people or you can fish from a standard frame with other family or group members 4 to 6 per boat. The Snake River through the Hells Canyon wilderness area is one of the most prolific and diverse fisheries in the Northwest.  We have specific dates that are for the avid sportsman call for details.

Steelhead Fishing

Let us help you hook into one of these Ocean Run Rainbows while taking in the amazing wildlife and scenery of the Salmon River Canyon. We strive to provide the highest quality Idaho steelhead fishing adventures available on the Salmon River. Our guides are professional, experienced fisherman that will give you the best opportunity to safely enjoy the river along with hooking you into that Steelhead or Salmon you have always wanted. Catching Idaho Steelhead is what we live for, let us bring you the dedication and quality you deserve and expect. We have 15 years of  experience guiding Riggins Idaho fishing trips and Idaho steelhead fishing.

Trips for both novice and experienced fishermen, customized to your needs and abilities. All of our trips are guided in drift boats with lunch, G-Loomis and Lamiglass rods and all  Idaho steelhead fishing equipment provided along with a propane heater for your comfort. Fly fishing is encouraged early in the season. Our season starts mid September and extends through March, please feel free to call for current conditions.

"Cast and Blast"

Cast & Blast Chukar hunting and Steelhead or Bass fishing combination trips are a great way to achieve the trip every sportsman dreams of "Fins and Feather's". Chukar's are a challenge for even the best bird hunters but with an experienced guide and drift boats to make you and your dog comfortable we can listen for birds while reeling in a steelhead. Hunting from the boat is a great way to keep the hiking down to a moderate level.

Hells Canyon 4 day "Cast and Blast"

Love to Fish?  Love to Bird Hunt?  Come to Hells Canyon for the ultimate sportsman's adventure. The wild Chukar (Himalayan Partridge) in there preferred environment are a rewarding challenge for the most avid bird hunter. As we float the Snake River in the bottom of this spectacular canyon, casting to Rainbow Trout and Small Mouth Bass we will be listening for the cackle of the Chukar at river's edge. Finish releasing your Rainbow, grab your shotgun as the guide maneuvers you into position, you can imagine the rest. At the camp that was set up earlier that day we will set the Sturgeon rod for the 8' to 10' monsters. After feasting on that nights meal you can either relax in the beauty of the canyon or pick up your fishing rod for the evening hatch on the Snake or one of it's many tributaries. One of the great rivers flowing into the Snake along the way is the Imnaha where we can venture up with our fly rods for Steelhead just in from the Pacific. If you are getting bored with all the fish, take the dog on a hunt for a few Chukar.

This adventure into Hells Canyon has endless possibilities for the outdoor enthusiast. This trip can be catered to each individual's passions whether you want to Fly Fish, Chukar Hunt, Catch a big Sturgeon, Steelhead fishing, or just spot for wildlife and relax. Don't forget you are on one of the best whitewater river's, your guide might have a few thrills in store. When we are finally thru with the last days fishing and hunting we will rendezvous with the jet boat for the 30 mile ride back to Pittsburgh Landing. A shuttle will be waiting to take you back to Riggins in time for dinner at the Seven Devils Steakhouse.
