Hells Canyon Whitewater Rafting
 Everything
about a Hells Canyon rafting trip and the Snake River running through it

of the Wilderness Area of North America's deepest canyon. Hells
Canyon not only offers whitewater rafting but also great hiking and
photo opportunities with maintained trail systems throughout including
many of the side canyons. Pictographs left by the Nez Perce
Indians are abundant along with the many historical cabins left by the
early pioneers. On a Hells Canyon raft trip you might see Big Horn
Sheep, Elk, Bear, Mountain Goat, Deer, Eagles and more. Did we mention
fishing, the Snake River through Hell's Canyon boasts some of the best
fishing found anywhere, with Sturgeon, Bass and Trout fishing.
This is truly paradise for the adventurous sportsman with
Sturgeon averaging 6 to 8 feet, Small Mouth Bass virtually every few
minutes and Rainbows for the fly fisherman.
 Guests can enjoy paddling
together in a paddle raft or oar boat where your guide will safely get
you through the whitewater and allow you to fish, photograph, sun bathe,
bird watch or just relax between the rapids. We also have
inflatable kayaks available by request if your really looking for an
adrenalin rush. Because we use a large supply raft our
camps
are set by the time you get there,
prepare to be pampered with our deluxe backcountry accommodations your
tent is waiting with inflated sleeping pad,
comfortable
sleeping bag and pillow.
We have many games for all ages, you can lounge in the shade with your
favorite drink while your guides serve you great food from Dutch Ovens
or off the grill, take a hike, do some fishing, go swimming, play a game
or read a book. We have worked very hard to combine the very best

- Day 2 - Night Hells Canyon rafting Expedition
This trip packs allot into a tight schedule, starting
at the border of the Wilderness Area you will be leaving the roads
behind as you leave the ramp. The big whitewater of Hells Canyon
is just around the corner. The trip ends at Pittsburgh Landing, the 34
miles will amaze you at every turn, even the shuttle out of the canyon
will leave you in awe.

- Day Hell's Canyon "Fishing & Hiking" Expedition
If you are as equally interested in the
fishing, history, hiking and relaxing as you are the whitewater rafting
add an additional day to the 3 day and you have the perfect river
vacation. This trip just gives you more time to do everything you
would have wanted to do on your vacation in Hells Canyon. Obviously this
trip appeals to the fishermen who can't get enough of the world class
fishing the Snake river offers.

 This trip includes everything the 3 day
expedition has with an addition 30 miles of spectacular scenery and of
course more great fishing and adventure. At the end of your raft trip
you will board a jet boat for an exhilarating ride back to Pittsburgh
Landing. This less crowded section of the river will give everyone a
sense of wilderness and adventure, you will see the confluence of the
Imnaha and Salmon River. This trip can be customized to a 6 - Day
5 - Night trip.

Mountain River Outfitters has put this trip together just for the
fishing addicts looking for the ultimate vacation catered just for them.
Experienced fishing guides will not only get you to the fish and safely
navigate the powerful Snake River thru Hells Canyon but can give
instruction for the novice. 2 fisherman per raft front and
back with plenty of room for both. Cast your fly rod or spinning
rod for Small Mouth Bass and Rainbow Trout as you drift through the
Canyon. Fish from shore at camp where the guides will be cooking a
delicious Dutch Oven meal. Sturgeon rods can be set at camp in the
morning and evening maybe during lunch. Fly fishing is encouraged
but we do not supply fly fishing gear, all spinning rods and tackle
included.

Boise Airport Shuttle:
Shuttle
transportation from the Airport in Boise or McCall Idaho to Riggins and
back is available for groups of 6 or more, call for details.
Transportation:
All of our
whitewater rafting trips originate in Riggins Idaho. NOT included in the
prices is air transportation, vehicle shuttles or any motel
accommodations before or after your river rafting trip.
