Owned and operated by Jess & Brenda Baugh on the banks of the Salmon River in Riggins Idaho. We are committed to providing the highest quality, safety and attention to detail to ensure our guests the best experience possible on your Idaho whitewater rafting adventure. Your guides are professionals with extensive experience of  Idaho river rafting and swift water rescue techniques, they are knowledgeable in the history, geology, plants and wildlife of these wilderness canyons. When your guides aren't paddling, retelling history or setting up your comfortable campsite, they're in the river-side kitchen cooking up some great meals you'll love.

Fishing Adventures

We encourage fishing on all of our whitewater trips but if your looking to have fishing the center of your vacation we have dedicated fishing trips in either raft or Drift Boat. 

Bass Fishing  -  1/2 day to 2 day Main Salmon trips during the summer months, great for beginners or avid anglers. These great fighters will be a great addition to your summer plans or combo with a whitewater or trailride.

Steelhead Fishing  -  Drift boat fishing for steelhead during the Fall and Winter, the ocean run rainbow trout range from 25" to 40" up to 20lbs.  We have many options for steelhead on the main salmon and also in hells canyon.

Sturgeon Fishing in Hells Canyon  -  Our 3, 4 or 5 day adventures in Hells Canyon include Sturgeon fishing depending on the group our guides will hook you into several of these giant pre-historic fish, sizes average 5 to 9 feet and up to 300lbs.

Chinook (King) Salmon  -  May and June bring spring chinook salmon to Riggins Idaho just a few miles fro our office we can find great fishing from our drift boats.  Fall Chinook are available on our 3 or 4 day Hells Canyon trips in September and October.

Horseback Riding and Guest Ranch

Mountain River Outfitters and White Bird Summit Lodge have teamed up to bring you a complete outdoor vacation. Bring the whole family for an all inclusive vacation full of outdoor adventure, the best Idaho whitewater rafting and scenic horseback trail riding into the wilderness. Trip packages range from just 1/2 day trail rides or multi day pack trips combined with any of our whitewater rafting trips in Hells Canyon or on the Main Salmon river.
