Rafting the Salmon River "RIVER OF NO RETURN" This is the ideal Idaho whitewater rafting trip for families, combining just the right amount of exciting whitewater, swimming, games and relaxing on the beaches in this specatular wilderness setting.

Pristine river the Salmon is the largest un-dammed river in the lower 48 states. The nature of a free flowing river gives the Salmon River an abundance of pristine white sand beaches, affording the highest quality camping of all river trips.

The Canyons of the Main Salmon River gorge the second deepest in North America. You will pass through steep granite and metamorphosed volcanic gorges to roomier columnar basalt formations.
Wildlife abounds in the diverse landscapes creating an array of animal and plant life, including Deer, Eagles, Bighorn Sheep, River Otter, Elk and Bear.
History of Nez Perce Indian river crossings used by Chief Joseph in their flight from the U.S. Calvary in 1877. We will also visit Chinese pit dwellings, abandoned homesteads, and old mining claims.
Whitewater in the Canyons is classified drop and pool, lots of exciting rapids seperated by relaxing pools where you will bask in the sun and solitude of this Wild and Scenic River.

This river trip offers you the best opportunity to see what Idaho and it's wilderness is all about. This rafting trip boasts the warmest water, the fewest bugs and the biggest beaches.

4 Day 3 Night - Salmon River "Canyons" Raft Trip

You will experience all 4 diverse but equally spectacular canyons, Green, Cougar, Snow hole and Blue canyon. 60 miles of the Main Salmon River with another 10 to 25 miles of the Snake River in Hells Canyon. Many of our rafting trips include jet boat ride to a take-out at Pittsburgh Landing in the heart of the Hells Canyon Wilderness, for a short van ride to the top of the deepest canyon in North America and back to Riggins.

The same amazing Idaho rafting trip as the 4 day but with an additional day that is important later in the summer when water flows slow and the beaches grow.

Main Salmon River rafting trips, family rafting Transportation: All of our whitewater rafting trips originate in Riggins Idaho. NOT included in the prices is air transportation, vehicle shuttles or any motel accommodations before or after your river rafting trip.

Lodging Packages: We offer our clients package prices at several different motels and lodges. You can add lodging to your vacation package with us, prices vary depending on peak season and individual needs. Our staff will be more than happy to give you prices and availability for your adventure vacation.

Boise Airport Shuttle: Shuttle transportation from the Airport in Boise or McCall Idaho to Riggins and back is available for groups of 6 or more, call for details.
